Is currently looking to fill the following job openings; Sous Chef

Sous Chef:
The Sous Chef is responsible for ensuring that all meals coming from the kitchen for which s/he is responsible are well prepared with regard to quality, consistency, eye appeal, taste and food cost. The Sous Chef is expected to provide training for all kitchen staff; meet Avila’s quality standards; and assist in establishing and enforcing food specifications, portion control, recipes and sanitation. The Sous Chef must control food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction. Passionate about training & development with people and food.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years kitchen management experience
- Minimum of 2 years fine dining experience
- College degree or certification in culinary field/hospitality field preferred
- Have the ability to lead by example and train staff
- Passion for service and uncompromising desire to serve the highest quality food.
- Positive, winning attitude a must!
