CHATA held its 15th Annual Award Dinner sponsored by Licores Maduro and Jonckheer Advertising and Marketing on June 23 in the Renaissance Curaçao.
President Mrs. Jeanette Bonet welcomed the guests and introduced the CHATA Board for 2010.
The board consists of:
Hotel directors Jeanette Bonet (Breezes Curaçao), Frank Eustatia (Otrobanda Hotel), Stefan Dubbeling (Floris Suite Hotel) Hans Schellevis (Chogogo Resort), John Toti (Curacao Marriott) and Maylin Trenidad ( Renaissance Curacao).
Allied member directors Omar vd Dijs (Licores Maduro),
Marin van Eps (Thrifty Car Rental), Edward Heerenveen (Inselair),
Billy Jonckheer (Jonckheer Advertising & Marketing Consultants), and Jeroen Kibbelaar (Impacto).
Jeanette Bonet’s remarks were followed by the Award Ceremonies sponsored by Jonckheer Advertising & Marketing Consultants.
Appreciation Awards were presented to Mr. Jan “Jaanchi” Christiaan
Restaurant Jaanchi’s at Westpunt, (FUDEKA) for being instrumental in the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Carnival in Curacao and Diving Pioneer Mr. Eric Wederfoort.
Highlight of the evening was the presentation of the CHATA Industry Award by Mr. Billy Jonckheer and Mrs. Jeanette Bonet to Mr. Eduardo de Veer for the development of the Riffort and Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino into a top resort, shopping and entertainment center and a major addition to our tourism product offering to our foreign and local visitors.
The evening was closed by Gino Coelho for his musical accompaniment of the Award Dinner and the Renaissance Curaçao for their splendid hospitality and the outstanding dinner presentation Mr.Oscar Loera and his Renaissance Kitchen Brigade and served by Event Manager Mr. Rudney Garmers and the Renaissance Event Staff .
