Curacao was well represented at Vakantiebeurs 2010 in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht from January 12.-17, 2010. The Curacao booth reflected the impressive, historic facades at "Handelskade" in downtown Willemstad.
The Curacao Tourist Board (CTB) and several CHATA members were present in the Curacao booth to inform consumers and the travel trade about Curacao as a destination and the varied tourism product offering. Notwithstanding the financial and economic crisis in Europe demand and interest for Curacao was high. The visitor count before the weekend already exceeded 75,000 Vakantiebeurs visitors.
