With everything from romantic getaways, city retreats, suburban staycations to exotic locations, the "Getaway for Good" Auction is the perfect way to plan your travel. Proceeds benefit the paricipating organizations including American Society of Woman Accountants (ASWA), American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT), International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association along with the HSMAI Foundation.
The HSMAI Foundation "Getaways for Good" Auction is now open and accepting donations. The actual bidding portion of the auction will run from February 1, 2010 until February 15, 2010.
To help us turn your generosity into funds for the Foundation, we will be showcasing your donation to over 50,000 association members from five different professional associations including the American Society of Woman Accountants (ASWA), American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT), International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association. While we are seeking a select number of signature items to promote through our marketing collateral in the form of the following items:
* Roundtrip Airfare for two
* City and resort stays and packages
* Unique getaways and experiences
* Golf or ski weekends
* Cruises
* Family Vacations
* Spa Getaways
the nature of the associations being invited to participate in the bidding also will benefit from donations from a wide variety of geographic destinations including hotel stays in city and suburban markets. We will also accept donations of consulting services and other items you have that add value to the overall auction audience.
We've titled the auction "Getaways for Good" as a portion of each winning bid will go to the bidder's association and the balance will go to the HSMAI Foundation, which will use the funds for industry research, publications, educational programming and academic scholarships. Your donation will be prominently featured on the auction website, along with your logo, photos and descriptive copy. This means that your donation will be highlighted and marketed to tens of thousands of upscale travelers and decision makers for meetings, business travel and vacations as well as travel industry professionals. With each donation, you can specify specific terms and conditions along with any other details.
"Getaways for Good" is divided into two categories: travel and media.
The travel category includes everything from exotic once in a lifetime experiences to weekend getaways available across the nation.
The Media catalog is open to HSMAI members only and offers a media catalog with unprecedented values on all forms of media and opportunities for one on one time with the industry's top leaders and marketing gurus for reviews and consulting services.
