The annual Curacao Culinary competitions organized by CHATA will kick off on Saturday, February 25th at 10:00 AM at the Academy Hotel with the Pre-finals for Chef and Junior Chef.
On Sunday, February 26th at the Pastry Chef competition will take place at 1:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Curacao Golf Resort, Spa & Marina and the winner will be announced that same day at 6:00 PM. On Sunday, March 4 the Bartender Battle and the Finals for Chef and Junior Chef will take place at the Academy Hotel Curacao at 10:00 AM.
The 2012 Curacao Culinary team will be announced that same day at 6:00 PM. The Curacao Culinary Team 2012 will consist of 5 members: Chef, Junior Chef, Pastry Chef, Bartender and Team member who will travel to Miami, Florida from June 20 – 24th, 2012 for the Taste of the Caribbean competitions.
The competitions are open to employees of CHATA member hotels and restaurants. Junior Chef competition candidates must be 21 years or younger in 2012.
