WILLEMSTAD - The Curacao Tourist Board (CTB) in a Valentine's Day atmosphere introduced its new awareness campaign; Ta dushi pa ta Dushi Hende.


For Curacao's tourism to really be successful, it is of great importance to put emphasis on what makes us different from other destinations. CTB markets our country as a unique destination, with a rich heritage, where nice "dushi" people live. People who are friendly, service minded, moral, honest, responsible and proud of their work and that feel committed to the development of their dushi island. Shortly said, people who make the tourist feel welcome at our Dushi Korsou.

The main purpose of this local campaign is to bring awareness to our people on the importance of our behavior towards our fellow citizens and visitors. As Curacao natives we state to be "Dushi Hende", however the stress of daily life may cause us to forget this. With this campaign CTB wants to emphasize on the values that make us Dushi Hende. The campaign is made in such a way to bring you in contact with the positivism which is a characteristic of our people.
The Dushi Hende commercials will be aired on television and radio as well as published in local newspapers. Let us unite in the purpose of this campaign and prove that we are in fact Dushi Hende!
