Willemstad, September 22nd 2011 – The Movies, Southern Caribbean Cetacean Network (SCCN), Dolphin Academy and Sea Aquarium started a unique collaboration to create a special experience for a select amount of guests. The goal of this one time partnership is to support the SCCN foundation, so they can give neighbor islands Aruba and Bonaire a stranding workshop and a sea mammal stranding kit.
Dolphin Rescue Fundraiser
The four parties created a huge special called the Dolphin Rescue Fundraiser. And was organized around the première of the new Dolphin Tale 3D movie on Thursday, September 29th in The Movies. The Dolphin Rescue Fundraiser is only accessible for a small group. Only 200 children and adults can enjoy the exclusive premiere of the movie. They will also do a Dolphin Touch & Kiss and they will watch the Dolphin Show at Dolphin Academy. Besides this they will see a special video about pilot whale Sully, who experienced a comparing scenario as the dolphin in the movie, two years ago.

The Dolphin Rescue Fundraiser will be held on Thursday September 29th. The complete proceeds of the ticket sales are for SCCN. Tickets for the fundraiser are available for only 50,- Nafl. and are for sale at Dolphin Academy starting today. There are only 200 tickets to be sold, so don’t wait too long.
