CHATA recognizes Jack Marshall

CHATA held its 16th Annual Award Dinner sponsored by Licores Maduro and Jonckheer Advertising and Marketing Consultants on May 28, 2011 in the ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Curaçao.

 President & CEO Mrs. Lizanne Dindial welcomed the guests and introduced the CHATA Board for 2011.

The board consists of:
Hotel directors Jeanette Bonet (Breezes Curaçao), Raymond Brummelhuis (Morena Resort), Diego Concha (Hyatt Curacao), Stefan Dubbeling (Kura Hulanda Resorts) Hans Schellevis (Chogogo Resort) and George Stanfield (Hilton Curacao).

Allied member directors Maurice Adriaens (CAH), Omar vd Dijs (Licores Maduro), Edward Heerenveen (Inselair), Billy Jonckheer (Jonckheer Advertising & Marketing Consultants), and Jeroen Kibbelaar (Impacto).

Lizanne Dindials’ remarks were followed by the Award Ceremonies sponsored by Jonckheer Advertising & Marketing Consultants.

Appreciation Awards were presented to Fundashon Bon Intenshon for being instrumental in organizing the Curacao Northsea Jazz festival , Curacao Sunfish Sailing Association for the Annual International Sunfish Sail Competitions, Curacao Yacht Club for the 45th anniversary of the International Blue Marlin Tournament in Curacao, to Henry van der Kwast for the movie “Boys of Summer” highlighting our young heroes of the Little League Curacao as well as Maarten de Jong as Wereldstage and its continuous contribution to tourism and knowledge in Curacao.

Highlight of the evening was the presentation of the CHATA Industry Award by Mr. Billy Jonckheer and Mrs. Jeanette Bonet to Mr. Jack Marshall , who was represented by Mr Rod Moser for the development of the Curacao Hyatt Regency Golf Resort, Spa & Marina into a top resort, shopping, entertainment center and a major addition to our tourism product offering to our foreign and local visitors.
The evening started with Maestro Norman Moron and was closed by Son CC with their musical accompaniment of the Award Dinner.  CHATA thanks the Hyatt Regency Curacao with their splendid hospitality and the outstanding dinner presentation by Chef Mr. John Pivar and his Hyatt Regency Kitchen Brigade, served by Banquet Manager Mr. Matteo Talone and the Hyatt Regency Banqueting Staff.
