CHATA ELECTS 2011 BOARD

CHATA membership met on March 30 at the Annual General Meeting in the Curacao Renaissance to formally receive and approve the Report of the Board, the Financial Statements and Auditor’s Report 2010 and the Budget 2011, and to elect the board for the Association year 2011.

In accordance with the Board Rotation Schedule two large hotel seats, one small hotels seat and two allied member seats rotate in 2011.

For large hotels/apartments the following candidates were nominated:
Diego Concha (Hyatt Regency Curacao)
Lou Roelofsen (Livingstone Jan Thiel),
George Stanfield (Hilton Curacao)
John Toti (Curacao Marriott)
Maylin Trenidad (Renaissance Curacao)
Diego Concha and George Stanfield were elected.

For small hotels/apartments two candidates were nominated:
Raymond Brummelhuis (Morena Resort)
Donardo Vrolijk (Howard Johnson)
Raymond Brummelhuis was elected.

For allied members the following candidates were nominated:
Maurice Adriaens (Curacao Airport Holding)
Nolo Ambrosi (Ocean Encounters),
Marin van Eps (Thrifty Car Rental),
Jeroen Kibbelaar (Impacto).
Maurice Adriaens and Jeroen Kibbelaar were elected

CHATA recognizes the valuable contribution of former board members John Toti, Maylin Trenidad, Frank Eustatia and Marin van Eps.

The CHATA Membership welcomed the new President & CEO Lizanne Dindial and recognized outgoing Executive Vice President Don Werdekker.

The CHATA Board 2011 consists of the following directors:
