WILLEMSTAD, Curaçao – August 17, 2010 – ‘Tis the season! To be traveling, that is. In an effort to continue to bolster Curaçao’s presence on North America’s travel radar, the island is celebrating the start of “Travel Agent Appreciation Season” with unbeatable airfare and hotel deals.
Curaçao knows travel agents need to experience a destination first-hand to expertly inform their clients. So, from September 5—October 31, 2010, Curaçao is partnering with American Airlines, Insel Air and top hotels island-wide to offer deeply discounted rates for travel agents to get to know the island.
Travel Agents can book a roundtrip flight with American Airlines starting from $179 or roundtrip flights with Insel Air offering AD 75 on fares from Miami. What’s more, Curaçao’s hotels are embracing the spirit of the season as well, with rates starting from as low as $50.
“Travel Agent Appreciation Season is designed to foster close relationships with our travel agent community, giving agents a true sense of what Curaçao is all about,” says Andre Rojer, marketing manager for North America, Curaçao Tourism Corporation. “We recognize that travel agents are some of our strongest ambassadors for Curaçao, and in order for them to really advise their clients to visit Curaçao, they need to have a true understanding for all we have to offer. Having trusted travel experts endorse our tourism product to potential visitors, is crucial to our growth from North America, especially in these tough economic times.”
