NEW YORK CITY, August 5, 2010 – Curaçao’s best kept secret is out of the dugout! Curaçao’s “Boys of Summer” brought lots of heart and heat to the New York International Latino Film Festival with its premiere on July 28 at SVA Theater.

A party was hosted at City Winery in SoHo that evening, with guests including the team’s manager, Vernon Isabella, who famously brought the team to World Championship victory, along with director and producer Keith Aumont and co-producer Ariana Garfinkel of award-winning documentary “TRUMBO.”

The “Boys of Summer “are heating up the big screen, telling a heartfelt story of Curaçao’s people, culture and phenomenal little league baseball legacy, having been to the World Series for seven consecutive years. The film explores what baseball means to Curaçao, a tropical paradise where tourists enjoy beautiful beaches while the players and their families navigate island life.
