‘Huntu desaroyando un Dushi Korsou’

Locals and foreign tourists can enjoy various cultural activities during the second edition of Kulturismo. This year’s theme is 'Huntu desaroyando un Dushi Korsou’ or ‘together we develop a Dushi Curaçao’.

It is a merger between the celebration of the Week of Tourism and the Week of Culture. The activities will find place in Punda and Otrabanda. Here you will find all the values, such as history, culture and architecture, so it’s the ideal place to serve as a cultural zone.
The official opening will be on saturday September 18th and will find place at the Plaza Horacio Hoyer. Here you can find stands with food, information, music and activities for kids. There is also the possibility for high school students to do a 'little internship' and take a look in the different tourist institutions and they can compete in a rap contest that’s related to ‘10-10-10’. Other highlights will be the Xtravaganza Turístiko with music and dancing in the garden of the MCB bank and an art market. On September 26 Kulturismo ends with a cultural ecumenical mass with various spiritual leaders: Bon Kuné at the Brionplein and a show of the bands La Perfecta and Era. The t-shirts will be available with sentences in English and Papiamento.
